Setup InteractiveBrokers using the new QuoteLink IB standalone add-in (first released in February 2020)

Covering all the symbols and markets is not easy with IB this add-in does a much better job but it requires learning and some patience.

Installing the add-in

• using QuoteLink installer


• install the most recent QuoteLink for InteractiveBrokers in the list
• install the most recent QuoteLink for Excel add-in

Enabling API in the trader workstation TWS

• open TWS
• use menu the menu Configure
• click on API
• check enable 'Active X and Socket Clients'
